Apr. 2nd, 2007 12:45 pm"The Hamiltons" (2007) : good dead-pan horror-- the ending SHOULD have been disappointing but was not...it just worked.
"Roman" (2007) : another flat-mood film that dragged somewhat, but the characterisation was credible. I predicted the end correctly 30 mins in, but so what.
"Hannibal Rising" (2006) surprisingly good, but that is mostly due to the charismatic screen-presence (and beauty) of Gaspard Ulliel. NB how could THAT grow into Ugly Anthony Hopkins? It does NOT EQUATE, casting-people.
"The Crossing" SM-R 2006
