I was a GHOST FROM THE FUTURE
May. 23rd, 2007 09:42 amIt was strange and lovely at the William Morris House yesterday... apart from two murmering curators, there wasn't a soul anywhere.
Wandering thru the big airy house, and the garden ouside, I easily imagined that large, industrious household, and the sound of horses and carriages going by on broad road beyond.
Looking at the skeches and pencil-drawn designs, it seemed the artist has just finished work for the day...the pencil strokes of light shading are so ...familiar? timeless?...
