Aug. 12th, 2007 11:39 pmSpent a lot of this weekend outdoors in and around London Fields at the bottom of my road, soaking up the sun, and the water of the new Olympic standard Lido there.
I have also almost completed two portraits (commissions) and done lots of good administrative tasks as well as an (extra-thorough) flat clean.

Its very true that the best antidotes to depression are getting outdoors, keeping active and being engaged in engrossing work.
Trouble is, at the time of being most depressed my outlook on such things goes 'What's the bloody point?!' Its only once I am starting to feel restless (and evidently less depressed) that these solutions seem attractive.
