At the start of last night I had a distinct feeling that there was something strange in the air: I began taking photos, looking at the cats prowling around outside, always with the feeling that there was something on the very edge of my field of vision, just moving out of sight. That thought became ALMOST tangible as I tried various ideas to incline SOMETHING to present itself, such as intensely focusing on a spot on the wall in the hallway between two doorways. There was no glimmer of movement from either, and I lost patience with it and got quite angry, viz: if there is going to be an odd feeling about the place I damn well want to force it to a conclusion.
How excellent would it be to actually see something materialise out of the grey area, and how thrilling to have engineered it!
Unfortunately my cynical matter-of-factness tells me this is NOT going to happen.

As you see, nothing untoward showed up in the photos either. What a bore.
