I set off in plenty time to go to the screening of Black Sheep at Leicester Square this evening; what followed was a catalogue of disaster that meant I missed it.
The bus broke down/got another/tried phoning-mobile died on me (kept giving Call Failed signals, tho it was topped up)
I got to The Crooked Surgeon for 8.40, just too late to catch the others going to the screening, and as I hadn't a clue where it was, another race around Leicester Sq was fruitless.
So... abject apologies to Tara who organized, and to anybody who could have used my ticket.

That name definition quiz (see [livejournal.com profile] markrimmel) is quite intriguing in the way it arrives at its not-so-random results.
The casual application of deconstruction, in idle moments, always uncovers fascinating layers of signs and connotations in just about any bit of text or illustration.
(Really, my love of semiology is just an extension of that other die-hard compulsion I share--taking things apart to see how they work).

Anyway, here are the definitions turned up pour moi:

Sally="smells like teen spirit"
sallypointzero="has the ability to become invisible"
yllas="a hard core grave-robber"

SMR 'Aftermath 3'
this picture started off from a radio tuner I unearthed inside an old wireless set (which also contained excellent VALVES and such)

I'm away to a funny place called CHUFFORD HUNDRED near Thurrock in Essex.
