Oct. 3rd, 2007 01:29 amIf i have plenty time to do it properly, I can actually enjoy packing.
The logistics of fitting everything necessary into the smallest possible space, and utilising every square centimetre of that space, keeps me happily engrossed for as long as it takes. Its like fitting together a Chinese puzzle.
The result is that my dinky luggage (one medium holdall and a slim shoulder bag) is surprisingly heavy.
Meanwhile, I have also been flat-cleaning. I LOVE returning to an immaculate pad
(also currently love that word. Pad...where you pad home to and pad about in on your human padding-paws.)
That said, it will seem ODD to return so soon.
Three days...jeez, that's about when you've got a place properly figured enough to really start getting adventurous!
However I expect I'll use the savvy gained on this trip, for future ref.

its sort of cute the way it places its front paws
