The original game-plan was me and Donna going to Slimelight on our own for Franco's night.
I've been researching cameras with a view to getting an SLR again, now that I am exasperated beyond all endurance with digital snappers and their n x (!!@***%)@!!)* shutter lag (almost 1.5 seconds on the Sony Cybershot I have at the moment.
I had decided on the Canon "Rebel" XTi 300 or 350. After speaking to Pete Aspden I'm now committed to the (even more expensive, thanks Pete) Rebel 400. He agrees on all of that range tho...said its a fantastic, and FAST, camera.
So that's another Christmas present from me to me (since I am an orphaned brat in the snow with no pater + mater sniff) However, what I now HAVE is an E-Bay which supplies dirt cheap 2nd hand gear.
*(where n = a swear word greater than any that previously existed x 10000000000000000000.
A sweary word so radical that a new alphabet has had to be created simply to house it.)
