more Sat.12th: evening/night
Apr. 18th, 2008 02:49 amMet the mad aunties of
deltress on Friday evening and again early Sat. evening for a totally entertaining, intensely-packed few hours then we cabbed back to continue our central Glasgow expedition.

late afternoon

thru the looking glass

the staircase

discover a 2nd hotel

beyond this

outside was the longest, coldest bus-queue ever (it was hysterically funny; I had to be dragged back into the hotel)

and lots of jungle-like noises and movement
When we returned to the hotel late Saturday night, and looked out the windows (I wanted to see the queue) the building directly opposite had huge chunks missing that you could see thru. Turned out it was being slowly demolished in overtime shifts over the weekend we were there.
Also, while we were looking at that, an owl flew past several yards from the window.
It came back later, so definitely real.
