Mullah-Gathering

Ouch! just heard from artist pal JourneyBoy who got stiffed for £5K (he WANTS the world to know what a risky, undependable business this is.)
Luckily I picked up some of his paintings for him a while back so they're safe and can stay indefinitely.

Actually GRRRR I was just about to tell him I need the space.

Anyhow that has prompted a ferocious bout of administrative activity on my lazy part. I am NOT gonna rely solely on agents (and their beastly 50% cut). There's tons of freelance outlets I can flog work without em.
Its all very lovely being self-employed and In Control, but actually my paymaster is the entire Public.

Also, I've been uploading artwork to Photobucket, FaceBook, and MySpace --its EXPOSURE, FFS. Networking is no longer a dirty word--official.

Going to Vagabonds on Saturday at the splendid BarrowBoy.
I'm not all that BIG on socialising (no kidding?!) so its a nice little diversion when I do.


Gotta remember, silly little prints like this pay for e.g. diesel!
