a poppy for my prehumous Uncle John who was so disgusted he missed WW2 that he ran off and got himself killed fighting in Korea in 1952.



(i don't want to go into the gory details exactly but -- he got his stomach slit open in the jungle and it was 3 days before he was found still alive. In fact he STILL held on till they flew him home to Scotland where he died. What a Scot! But Dad said they should have inscribed 'Stupid Boy' on his headstone.)
