Dee da dee da dee deeeeee.....volcanoes, an ACTIVE volcano, a deep lagoon (Laguna Arenal) wild animals, tame monkeys, dense forests, wild jungle, plantations, perfect climate brought from the Pacific and the Caribbean... its straight out of one of my first adventure books fr children!!!
I don't care WHAT work I do out there now....there's got to be enough time off to have a look at SOME of that! And if not, where I'll be you can't help seeing and HEARING the Arenal volcano. If I have to travel to and from Las Pumas and La Marina Rescue Centres and its in the middle!
NB Las Pumas is quarantined just now, with three leopards sick.
And I picked this place with everything BUT those considerations in mind. Quote " it looked a scrubby sort of area - a bit rough."
