Been nite-walking -- Abney park etc. but I'm not in the mood to talk about the strangeness and beauty of the early hours.
I frgot to say how shocking it was to come back to Britain after a month in a healthy, independent, proud little country like Costa Rica.
This 'state' has gotten so far away from being a democracy, so quickly - -- and how morally sick it is! I literally thought the first news round-up I heard was a spoof.
(TV has hit unbelievable depths anyway-- eg a new freak-show to gawp at every week; its meant to be OK to gawp because the world's medical teams are falling over each other to hunt out new, sad specimens to re-present as quasi-miracle cures to the viewing multitude).
Things are so bad that it no longer seems absurd to envisage telescreen installations in British homes; only party membership would not be required.
History is being rewritten and grafted into the education curriculum at primary school level -- its a short step to Un-Persons (NB early tentative experiment with Flo Nightingale).
Stateside Blogweb is as good as Thought-Police infiltrated ... full of 30-something party-members talking about parties...still rockin against racism, smugging for 'socialism'.... they must be a joy to delude.
Maybe Civil War is the only real way out of this quagmire.
