A shadow of his former self

Having been rather down lately I was just in the mood to run into Charles. However I feel I should report that this character is better avoided these days. He is not the man he used to be -- in fact he is unrecognisable. With a sickly yellowish hue to his countenance this chap is very slow on his feet and doesn't have the stamina for a night out any more. I suspect he has been taking rather a lot of painkillers and its done him no good whatsoever.
In fact almost the only familiar thing about him is his incorrigible ability to empty your pockets.
