Splendid Isolation - not

What's happening this weekend people? I'm supposed to stop smoking again 4 the absolute LAST time on Saturday - i have reached the point zero cut off as far as cigarillos go.
So -- i have GOT to make it Morbid (ie spent in company with scampery feet not touching the ground till Monday).
Also, i should be visiting proper THINGS instead of hoofing about in a random sort of way : (
So, i am up fr walks, visits to galleries and places, markets, pubs, clubs, anything at all.
Rescue!

cruelty allegation

I've just had the WORST sort of phonecall, with the company that organised my stint in Costa Rica. They failed to meet some of the basic requirements such as organising my accomodation before departure from San Jose and I'd pulled them up on it.
To defend themselves against this pretty minor issue they have got the wife of the guy who owns the wildcat rescue (which receives funds from same company) to give them a statement which they are using to say calls my character into question, hence undermining any claim I might make.
Shocked, I asked them what exactly she'd said to them and was totally unprepared for what I heard.
She has stated that I hit the cats with a stick.

I am very, VERY upset by this and the fact that they're treating it as a 'their word against yours' situation. It really bothers me that this has been put on record.
Dunno what to do -- doesn't seem like there IS anything. There's a black and white document saying that i am cruel to animals. Can't deal with that.
Needless to say this gets the company out of paying me any compensation, tho really i was not expecting that they would.
