Departure Club Opening Night
Apr. 11th, 2009 09:44 amYep, liked that.... bit like Tanz really, with a good atmosphere and size so you kinda feel like you're at somebody you know's party.
(At Vagabonds fr instance I always have the vague feeling that I am gatecrashing an event, even tho I've paid to get in, if that makes any sense. Its no doubt STILL down to us crashing a lot of Proper 21st Parties and such, as students)
Also a big plus was Puppy man K9 on the decks. (I painted his portrait!)
I think it was jolly brave of m'self and buddy
demondaz to cut a mean rug on the otherwise empty dancefloor. Its true! dancing is my most favourite thing in the world!
There were quite a few good people in (sadly no Aly and Rob tho) and i really enjoyed gabbing with some, like
indigo_violet (such a lovely face - what a holy terror!)
The street the club is on is a bit of a long one for getting to tubes or buses, I'd say, but that's about the only negative point I can think of.
So yeah , good night that : D
