Busy / poison

I've been busy / out of town a lot.
Meanwhile around two days ago Circuit seems to have eaten something/ been given something poisonous as he went off his food at that time and has been staying indoors voluntarily (v. worrying sign) and vomiting saliva/water frequently. His lost his collar and ID disc a couple of days ago too, so its possible somebody grabbed him and he escaped or was released again.
I'm waiting for the Blue Cross animal hospital to open at Victoria and take him there by bus.

The vet thinks there's *something* in Circuit's abdomen.
After two examinations (2nd opinion) with a lot of painful prodding he got put into a little cage to await X-rays. But he has to stay in, in any case as he needs to go on a drip and also to get pain-relief shots (the best bit of news all day!)
I just had to walk away and leave him sitting in his cage on the floor of the corridor.
There were big panting slobbery dogs around and people walking past him.
