It gets to where I think everything i do is just a pose and there's nothing at the heart of it.
I am trying to 'see' without all of the clogging, claustrophobic layers of 'how it is seen' getting in the way.
I've clearly forgotten how to write like that but no matter, not worried bout that; what's important is fixing the first unspoilt IMAGE(s)..... and a case of keeping it fresh in my head till I can work it thru on canvas or whatever. I *think* i can still do that OK.
U have to try and forget about everybody else and all the artstuff u saw.
Luckily i stay pretty cut off from the world and especially the art world so its not so hard. Or it shouldn't be anyway if *u forget about how u/ur work is seen*.
SIGNIFICANT PAUSE.
Sometimes its so tempting to enter that gossipy, jostling ambitious artist's arena and shove one's ego-opinions into the pot.
Fuck that. Fr good or bad I've never been ambitious tho, conversely, I don't dislike those who are.
