Re the hit and run on my car by bus-driver Mr J. Omango that I wrote to my MP about a month ago (nb nobody had been charged, police dropped the matter, my car-share friend and i got solicitor to track down the driver ourselves whilst meeting all costs including repairs and hugely increased car insurance).
Just got this pathetic reply.....

which is about as dismissive/unhelpful as it gets.
Maybe i should appeal to the opposition party, only I am just about as fed up with this poxy country and what it has become as its possible to get.
To coin the scots - the whole place is hoaching.

*THIS* load of scaffolding has appeared outside!!

They're doing the 'cyclical redecoration' of these listed buildings and i'm always the last person to know which end they start with first.
I get to vote fr one of 3 colour schemes for the interior.
Its a great playground fr the boys anyway.
Circuit that's not one of our windows!

For once* i am interrupting a meal and Ch 4 News to post on LJ --
Illustrator and story-teller John Ryan has died : (

Capt. Pugwash + his ship The Black Pig.
*well! - i LIKED Pugwash he wz GOOD*
: (
Oh and spot the obvious forerunner of that runaway success 'Cpt Corelli's Mandolin' of 2001 in this book cover, typeset and ENTIRE SEMIOTICS ACTUALLY. Hmm?

If the Pugwash character had not fixed a basis for a Good Captain etc etc etc in the public mind, this book/film might have struggled to establish its central character so quickly and effectively.
I rest my case : )
