Mystery Rosebuds....ooh (but not in a stalkery way; i think..)

Earlier this Summer i decided to made tubs of flowers for outside the building where I live -- well it looked Victorian-work-house bleak.
I usually water them in the evening and plant out cuttings. Tonight I found that somebody had left 2 discs of Oasis stuck with yellow rosebuds and sprays beside them, clearly intended to be placed inside the tubs.

London OpenHouse visits...

I went to Hothouse (21K) and Sutton House (16K) locally.
HOTHOUSE (art studios/ media offices) at 274 Richmond Rd.......







Also met the currently exhibiting artist Bryan Poole, who intro'd me to the Director, Alan Rossiter. These are da local guys!
NB i got a lovely compliment.... i mention this strictly because i iz vain, glib and superficial.

Sutton House, Homerton Road - (cut thru lovely St John's Churchyard from the station)

This familiar place had its UNfamiliar East wing open -- which has been left as the Victorians and Georgians revamped it. I MUCH prefer the Tudor parts, especially the courtyard, kitchen and cellar (with a brick bearing the footprint of a dog that put its paw in the wet clay, back in 1550 something!)
Photography is not allowed inside most of the House.

Derren Brown

i just started watching Derren Brown's 'The Events' on 4OD; -- y'know the bit where he takes that woman into Hamley's and asks her to choose a toy --- LITERALLY when they were in the DOORWAY of the shop i thought 'yeh its a giraffe'. I haven't seen the rest of it, i've paused it but it looks as tho they're going to pick a furry toy and it IS going to be a giraffe.
Because he made a very quick hand gesture above his head in the doorway, and it immediately suggested Giraffe.
Now I'm going to watch the rest and see if i'm right.
