yet another donut epiphane

I have just read the small print in the Help section of my (dead) landline phone instruction booklet.
*I absolutely did not know that those batteries in handsets are rechargeable ones.*
I've only ever replaced batteries with the ordinary, like Duracell kind - figured they didn't last long cz they were old stock or something.

I've slung out two previous cordless phones!!!

I THINK i may still have my really expensive plaque remover toothbrush somewhere -- i suspect it needs a new rechargeable battery too.

I'm now starting to remember other things i thought were kaput.... gone!

Its like having a split, borderline-retard, personality.

'Oven'* - reprise

I reworked this painting (in its sunken frame) from spring 08. I'm now FINALLY satisfied that i've gone as far as i want to go with it. It's, um, 'hotter' now. As usual i've sized the image so it will click up to around 920 x 1280 pixels, much more if its pulled outta lj.

I'm going to start making a website soon so I need to get all these loose ends tied up b4 putting the images on to it.
Building a website with no computer training etc seems quite straightforward (using Dreamweaver anyway) from what i've been told/seen inspiring examples of ( e.g. nemesis_to_go)

Creating a package of oneself is, er ---- @ * NOT * @.

* 'Oven' is about the fact that the impetus and aptitude for any historical atrocity (eg torture oven from 75AD Rome) are present in 'civilisation' today and require only the necessary circumstances/opportunity for re-enaction.
