Hampstead Heath on Christmas Day

I got to spend an idyllic and *perfectly happy* time sclumming about on the heath yesterday afternoon thanks to that inestimable friend Mr Smyth.
The day was one of the most beautiful i've ever walked in - clear, crisp, russet tinged --- i felt my spirit soaring like a bird into the clearest blue.
There are photos .... tho they'll become extraneous, clutter: it was such an afternoon that'll live better in memory.
