Lecture, on er.....
May. 29th, 2010 01:50 amI am slipping out of the People World again, losing interest.
It's significant that an awareness of the danger of detachment has only been light-bulbed by actually Talking (i.e. the quintessence of people-stuff).
That's an open-ended paradox: it's quite easy to lose touch with everybody except one or two close friends, who are EASY to communicate with, having a huge amount of common knowledge / interest/perception etc... y'know, being on THu Same WaveleNGth.
(god i can hardly even be bothered to do this)
All the same.... working on my own where i also live is default setting for exclusion of the social world, so one must actually try harder to be informed. (sez Ms Jean Brodie of the Outer Perimeter ffs)
(nb i don't watch tv - except for minimal news on ch 80 .... never listen to radio* either).
I run out of stamina quickly. I don't spend much time online really and i get distracted by looking for foldup bikes. Facebook is just too wide and noisy to communicate. I just post YouTube vids of the music i like on it now. When i first started on idle afternoon of 9th May i couldn't stop - unintentionally it turned into a day night day music tour THING! wz excellent adrenalin fun.
All things must cross fade...
*(actually radio might be ok but i never found out how to tune it in).
So yeh, those things and having no family, it's too easy to slip slip slip awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
thud
