I've already done a chunk of disciplined work I would not have achieved working from home, especially under a black cloud (familiar low self-esteem - [probably over-compensated] - hurt of bewilderment and rejection... yes this is the new, admittedly fragile S Point Zero who mentions these things, loosely called Man Trouble).
Anyhow, the smell of linseed and gesso is inspiring--- i use mainly acrylics, gouche (glue, ashtray contents -not mine! -ink, wallpaper paste, coffee grounds, ......) at home for practical reasons.
Similarly, work space dictated buying ready-made canvases which irks tho I am just awful at joinery and presentation and making things look straight and proper and neat.
AND the 20 minute walk between my flat and studio thru St John's Churchyard full of huge fresh trees, meadowgrass, bluebells and squirrels. Core Art itself fills a converted Victorian gothic Church hall and vicarage with a tangle of a churchyard of its own (Core also has a trim bamboo'd garden. (Have i said all this b4? but it's exciting!).

not my foto of st john's - can't get camera fixed yet - or my stereo come to that. Or replace my iPhone (i have a 20 quid mobile and a £4.99 corded phone from Asda).

The Digital Wars have cleaned me out;
I haven't a hope of id'ing the hack/intruder or getting compensation. I wasn't insured at the time either.
All in all these are reasons to not be cheerful but they don't really harm me.
Other stuff harms me.
