Hello El-Jay...
Jun. 3rd, 2011 10:46 amI'm getting more (disciplined/figurative) work done at the Core art open studio, where a 10-min fast walk will get me there for 10.30am today: nb one volunteer travels to Hackney from Brixton!
The freedom of space and materials means I can stretcher a canvas of decent size next week to paint in culmination of recent themes (downward spiral and Dante).
I still haven't got my own working DSLR so haven't any jpegs.
Online-wise there appear to be calendars, image files and even blog entries (specifically, Google Blogger photo-post of 18th Nov 2010) posted under my name (SMR) pseudonym (SPZ) or corruptions of, but I have no idea what they are-- it's Access Restricted.
The only file I've managed to track down and load is a sillhouetted close-up profile, dark and hideous which, on closer inspection, has been pho'shoppped to look smirky as well as plague-boiled. Lovely. The original is the very last photo I'd have chosen. BUT - it depends on what it's the cover pic FOR i suppose - I've no idea.
Certainly that cheapened, ugly smug profile gives no reassurance - *shudder and yikes*.
On the bright, I'm life-drawing with Prince's Drawing School at the National Gallery this evening.
