bummer, or not

A really really good friend was driving up from Somerset to visit me today but has just called to say their car has broken down en route and the poor thing is now being limped back to a garage by the RAC.
Bah! - just when i had the flat and EVERYTHING PERFECT for ONCE!
I'm not going to join the London Arts & Culture Group this week, tho. I did last Sunday for The Wallace Collection which was fab as ever. No, instead of the National Gallery (too dark and stuffy and baroque for this beautiful Spring day) I am going for another springy walk as yesterday, and then to the Geoffreye Museum in Hoxton, where you can walk all round the light bright alms cottages and see parlours thru the ages!
