Standing at an easel can get tiresome, esp since I hurt my leg. An alternative is the Cat-Easel shown here. You can sit in front of it with a canvas-board propped at an ergonomic 45º angle, and the spoilt lazy brat... who refuses point-blank to go outdoors in daylight with his loony brother... can be trusted not to make any sudden moves while his eyes are shut.

I'm going to do a canvas of Joey Dunlop on his motorbike for someone.
However I just checked on a completed download and I cannot resist watching this film as the opening looks REALLY GOOD AND CREEPY.
Its called Dead Silence and it looks to be about VENTRILOQUISM.
Now THERE'S a spooky subject we haven't seen in horror for AGES. (was it Michael Redgrave who was in that excellent old black+white film about an evil dummy).
It starts with the derivation of the word on the screen drawing attention to the fact that 'ventril' means 'coming from the STOMACH'. Oo-er.
I'm putting Butterkist into the microwave for popcorn and movie time... I'll probably work right thru the night anyway.
