Jul. 18th, 2007 10:49 amI've changed the mood lighting colour of the painting I'm working on THREE times!
(This is one for LJ featuring a vampire or two) First it was a warm honey tint, then I made it lime green and I have now just finished changing that to violet, which is definitely best. Course the whole picture has to alter in tone now but its worth it to get the right pitch.
I enjoy creating costumes for the portrait subjects too...mostly they are copied from the real clothes, but sometimes I have to make it up. For this pic I've invented a Victorian party costume which has blood red bodice over pink satin skirt covered in jet-beaded mesh.
And here's a dreadful confession!...I have naughtily STOLEN a mask from the gorgeous range made by ENLYL, which I spied on her web-page.
