MAC ATTACK
Nov. 2nd, 2007 11:51 amI'm running on empty now...over 48 hours wide-awake: there was no point in even trying to sleep with that shoulder injury, so I logically took it to the other extreme.
(have now eaten quiche + watercress + cherry tomatoes with granary bread+butter, then Snickers. I sort of forgot to eat since...oh I dunno.)
BUT I have done LOADS on the computer whilst I've been incapacitated.
I have totally overhauled this iMac, erased and re-installed the hard drive, then put in all my applications in latest version, and checked out a whole lot of new ones.
As Apple have just released OS X 10.5 (Leopard) tho, I've not gone overboard on downloads as I'll be upgrading to that shortly. (I'm running 10.4.10 Tiger). Its retailing at £85 here; I meant to buy it direct from Apple California as it works out at £62 with the current state of the dollar, but they've closed the gate.
Awwww....Panzer has just dropped his toy at my feet. Currently its a bit of white plastic.
