Nov. 5th, 2007 07:28 amThat was the best weekend of the year, where it counts: I'm right back on track with my work again.
Saturday, coincidentally I had to attend a meeting of artists whom I sometimes exhibit with and some quite exciting things are on the agenda for next year.
The meeting was held out at Berkhamsted, about 50 miles drive away, and it was refreshing to get out into the countryside. I went for a longish walk while I was there afterwards too.
There was a firework display in the grounds of the castle nearby (well next door really, we were on Castle Hill)
On Sunday I finished the painting I started recently. Its pointing exactly in the direction I want my work to be going and is the only thing I've really been pleased about all year.
