Slough of Despond
Following a BAD bout of self-criticism, early on Saturday morning I had a painting-purge wherein a dozen or more things found themselves physically trashed.
I don't even feel any better for it, as it wasn't so much the work but my lack of focus that is the real enemy.
If only it was so easy to excise all the sludge in my head, that results in hours, days, weeks of pathetic non-achievement.
