Art for Creatures of the Night
Dec. 17th, 2007 11:04 pmI came across this scintillating etching by Max Ernst in 1967 this evening whilst looking up his book Paramythes online.
(It was used as the frontispiece).
It struck me that it would look good on any of the LVG/VC peoples' walls, cards, whatever.
I love the etching technique, tho I have limited access to baths of nitric acid these days (esp. at the concentration I used to make 'em up, time being at a premium--goose feathers would disintigrate after 5 mins feathering the plate!)
