MORE scowling >: (

I'm not going to Tanz...I don't have anything to wear.
Until about an hour ago i gave it no serious thought, soaking in a scenty, creamy bath with a vague notion of pulling on something black and lightweight and fr tonight, bus friendly.
Ahem *there is no such garment on the premises.*
Basically everything is WRONG or unTanzable and i am totally frazzled by pulling things off and on and over my head (my hair has become INFURIATINGLY electric; it was a QUITE LOVELY approximation of an auburn cloud half an hour ago and NOW LOOK!!).
So -- as two chums are definitely not going / best mate is working/ I only know of ONE definite who IS going (aw its Aly too) --- looks like I am not going after all.
I am in SUCH a crabby temper today, maybe its just as well.
(on top of other stuff i have got cramp in my leg and i burnt my hand on the grill).

I had almost sucha day like that. I felt huge and elephantine and stomped about and was crabby and growly, just before going out to play for the sheffield city morris men. Actually, I had it with the clothes too, as it was hot, and I needed to wash things. :(

That and I keep l knocking myself on the drying crockery downstairs -which really gets my goat. twisted my ankle in midst of a ceilidh dance yesterday - yeow. Hope your cramp eases off. Sorry about your hand. Do you know this tip (got from an old flatmate who's mother was a retired medic). After you've put in cold water, put something on it thickly, like antiseptic cream or anything similar. It makes a barrier between the wound and the air, and stops it reacting into blisters. That's why they used to butter on burns. Seriously, it's a very useful tip that's made burns, less bad than they could be.

Sends hugs and love. Hope things pick up for you.xxx

Sounds a bit like my day - I was toying with the idea of TM as well. I think all this horrible humidity right now doesn't help either :(

"not a thing to wear?" - not a phrase I would expect to hear from you!! :-) I did have similar feelings yesterday, after a weekend of slobbing out it was difficult to feel good about anything I tried on; as a result probably ended up totally overdressed instead!

Shame you didn't go but if its any consolation, it was a bit quieter than previous times and a very humid journey getting there.

We went. It was a shame not to see you. It was pretty fun, I'd not been before. I liked the venue and thought the music was ok but the dancing space was rather crap. (Which for me is always the most important part of a club). Still it was good to see people and the had yummy cocktails, which were cheap and refreshing in the warm weather.
