Punishment Exercise on Goth
Feb. 15th, 2008 03:46 amOk-all right-enough!! I MAY have a foggy notion of hearing the name FoN mentioned in the vague region of goff ONCE or twice...BUT--I don't see what MAKES them Goth.
As I say it seems that it has already commandeered most of the really good post-punk/new wave bands of the 80's, plus great original punk diehards like Siouxsie. So its probably swallowed up a lot of others along the way.
Really, Goth = Non-Chav?
My main problem with goth tho, is that it seems way short on rebels...in fact the big, heroic-sounding voices of the major goths, and all the little yapping bands, sound just like Authority to me.

Well, there's the Dress Code. ALWAYS the Dress Code.
Its a fucking drag.
