I've made it to Monday sans cigarettes!!!
Oct. 6th, 2008 12:04 amOk its only 5 past midnight but EVEN SO.... : D
I am absolutely shattered because of diversion tactics ie I've kept busy and on the go, plus using a lot of energy in adrenalin fuelled behaviour.
I WAS meant to be driving tonight but conceded that it might be ill-advised under the circumstances.
But i did get driven about to relax and did so by watching the rev dial which is really quite fascinating - MUCH more interesting than mph. It is almost hypnotic. In the dark the lights of the dials are deep ruby red and cobalt blue.
I took these flash shots to see just how differently it all looks when brightly lit AT NIGHT. Its strange, disorientating ...like when the lights go up at the cinema
If possible i would like to die whilst being driven at night... just watching the lights, the arches of branches and the deep blue universe above the windscreen. I am in love with ('easeful...'!) the idea of being physically and metaphysically moved from one place to another, simultaneously.
Then --and I hope this is NOT how death is -- the lights suddenly go up and you SEE everything...

In the light, its just a dirty car
