Nov. 28th, 2008 02:50 amI have decided to go OFF in January for 4 weeks (can be extended up to 3 months then a Visa is required).
I'm committed, but I still have 3 options at the mo.....
the Amazon -a new animal rescue, rehab and release centre in the Ecuadorian jungle (has daily arrivals of animals, including leopards, = victims of trafficking, poaching etc)
Namibia - endangered species project doing same thing with vultures and black and white rhino and other animals, as well as helping on nearby cheetah reserve and crocodile farm. Can involve horseriding! : )
Guanacaste - wildcat rescue/rehab/release centre (cougars, jaguars, ocelots)
which UNFAIRLY uses a photo of this little fellah....
It was EASY deciding alone to go; the choice is harder.
