MacBeth (More 4)
Dec. 28th, 2008 12:47 amThat was BRILLIANT!
I especially loved the portrayal of MacDuff by Bob Peck (that's how his name appeared in the credits) - the way he contrasted with McKellan's sound and fury by turning hate and vengeance inward.
Cold, cold as whetted steel.
I scarcely noticed the costumes; the stark blackness, almost enveloping the characters in atmosphere at times, levelled all formal concern.

Meanwhile I ate almost three-quarters of this steamed golden pud and cream.

That might sound prosaic in this post, but i am loving putting pictures of the nice things I'm eating with post-poorly appetite *pigging out y'mean*
