Alan has a friend staying with him for a few days called Slash Morgan; he is one of four brothers called Paco, Bonzo and Gubby Morgan whom i've also met, in Co Antrim. I kindov know what it must have been like in the Wild West now : /
Anyway me n Slash (') are going up to watch him play snooker at his regular place, the Marquis of Granby on Kingsland Rd.
Last Saturday he apparently won twenty-eight---sErsly---- games in a row even beating his two best mates/ contenders Danny and Huo (N. Vietnam.
  He has a regular clutch of admirers including some heartily enthusiastic Poles, neo-punx, grads, average regulars and regular yuppies; but his biggest groupie admirer is a post grad Oxford linguist/penelope keith soundalike  who now features on many fone fotos literally hanging off his neck between shots.
He's lovin it : )
