Nothing did as it was supposed to. Even the cats seemed to be barking and the hot water tap sang Nightwish- Over the Hills.
I may have tinnitis of course.
Even wierder is this...Alan brought our car round and mobiled me 'come and hear the tide coming in'. I got in and we pulled off...Slosh, sloop SLOSH. Looked behind, and there's an inch and a half of water sloshing about under the back left passenger seat!
We have not a CLUE how it got there--checked everything, and the only slight possible was a coke bottle cap (we don't drink it) but no way does a spilled drink account for flooding.
Its a mystery--which, now that I've finished baling etc-is lovely!

Here is my brilliant photo of I.S. at Slimes.
Any live band is a good band is the Point Zero Motto.

Did anyone else listen to the files on [livejournal.com profile] chyldecatcher's page over the weekend? I listened to the 2nd a couple of times and have watched the evidence unreeling on News 24 (Channel 80)
This is really scary stuff now-- its got too close to home for complacency. And when the Bank of England starts chucking out billions in money that ain't money, we are really in trouble cos all that will have to be paid back--in real money, massively inflated.
A handful of people in the world are going to become even more astronomically rich out of this, while the rest suffer.
As always I think of animals and how THEY will suffer, and that's what is honestly worrying me most. You think they're treated badly in times of glut--they will count for NOTHING soon.
